The TDS-84 is a full featured display in a compact ultra low profile package. The unit offers unparalleled reliability and maintenance free operation through the incorporation of high output LED’s in place of traditional cold cathode back¬light assemblies. This combined with Transas’ proprietary manufacturing proc¬esses produce a full color display with un¬paralleled lighting performance.

With its numerous interface options, the TDS-84 is an ideal solution for both new design and cockpit upgrades. The unit seamlessly displays key navigational, ter¬rain & situational information, flight plan data, moving map, etc., as well as any on¬board FLIR and or camera equipment, in¬cluding video for cabin security or SVS.

The unit’s powerful hardware platform and real time operating system make the TDS-84 an ideal candidate to handle large databases for navigational and ship’s position calculations. The unit is easily integrated with multiple onboard systems and it’s design includes numerous cursor control and select options thus maximizing its functionality.

On helicopter applications the unit can be integrated with searchlight and FLIR equipment to synchronize and control beam and camera direction to accurately track with the operator set-points in both auto and manual modes. The unit’s compact flash memory also make it an excellent candidate for Class III EFB applications as well.
