Air Show visitors will have the opportunity to see ATR-42 and Boeing-737 flight training devices and fixed base full flight simulators for An-148 aircraft, Akkord-201 multi-purpose aircraft and helicopters of Mi-8 family in the TRANSAS pavilion. The key idea of TRANSAS made reconfigurable flight training devices for ATR-42 and B-737 aircraft is downloading and starting up training devices of different aircraft on the same hardware platform. These flight training devices are designed for initial familiarization with aircraft controls and training the basic flight skills. The flight training device simulates aircraft instrumentation, out of the window environment, characteristic noises and allows to set failures of the systems during training sessions. The FTD enables training without instructor in self-training mode. The flight training devices are designed to avoid special requirements for installation facilities. Visitors can see it for themselves. Air Show visitors will also be able to see fixed base full flight simulators, which are an effective training aid for civil aviation pilots to practice piloting in standard and abnormal flight conditions. More than 10 FFS made by TRANSAS will be put into operation in the Russian Federation. Creation of Europes largest specialized helicopter training center equipped with FFS level D (Mi-8T, Mi-8MTV and Mi-171) for GAZPROMAVIA Aviation Company Ltd., as well as Mi-8T flight simulator of level A for “Aviation Transport Company Yamal” along with Mi-8T and Mi-8MTV FFS installed in SPARC JSC and UTAir Training Centers and Mi-171 FFS installed in Omsk Flight Engineering College allow to increase training level of flight crews of the most popular helicopter type – Mi-8/Mi-17.
