Within the framework of his visit to the premises of St.Peterburg TRANSAS group of companies, Dmitry Medvedev, the President of the Russian Federation familiarised himself with the latest developments of the company’s Aviation Line in the sphere of safety systems for civil aviation. The President was shown an extensive line of aerial equipment and the up-to-date IBKV-17 integrated helicopter avionics which will become the first unified system for all the produced Ìi-8/17 class helicopters. This system has been created on the basis of broad cooperation, chiefly with the HELICOPTERS OF RUSSIA, MIL MOSCOW HELICOPTER PLANE and KAZAN HELICOPTER PLANT. During the visit, the head of the state made a flight on the level D full mission Ìi-8ÌÒV helicopter simulator with a motion system. D.A.Medvedev was told by Nikolay Lebedev, the President of the TRANSAS group, about special features and unique capabilities of the company simulators. N.Lebedev noted that Transas helicopter simulators are the main training aid for the flight personnel in the Russian Federation. More than 25 simulators have been installed and are in the process of production, seven of them of the D Level (ordered by GASPROMAVIA, UTAIR, Omsk Civil Aviation Flight and Technical College named after A.V.Liapidevsky). Besides, the company is manufacturing airplane simulators under orders from ULYUSHIN FINANCE, UNITED AIRCRAFT CORPORATION and UTAIR. The President also took note of the DOZOR multi-purpose unmanned aerial system. Presented to the President was a model range of unmanned aerial vehicles of different classes and aerodynamic configurations, the components and arrangement of drone equipment and their production technology. D.A.Medvedev and his party were taken around the TRANSAS production facilities with the own test base, and shown the company equipment technologies, production and assembly processes. At the end of the visit, Dmitry Medvedev answered questions of TRANSAS employees. |
