Transas AviationCompanyNews2009 yearNew Integrated Flight Deck Solution for Mil Helicopters – IBKV-17 – for Russian Helicopters New Integrated Flight Deck Solution for Mil Helicopters – IBKV-17 – for Russian HelicoptersAt the HeliRussia 2009 International Helicopter Industry Exhibition, presented at the stand of the HELICOPTERS OF RUSSIA, there will be the state-of-the-art IBKV-17 avionics system. For the first time, the Russian manufacturers who have united under the aegis of HELICOPTERS OF RUSSIA (OBORONPROM) propose a base solution for the Ìi-8/Ìi-17 helicopters, significantly superior to the modernising options currently offered by the market for Russian helicopters. The IBKV-17 will become the first unified system for all the helicopters of this class. The version for the civil aviation will be promoted by TRANSAS. The defence modification (IBKV-17EV) developed by R.Å.Ò. KRONSHTADT is even now offered and very much in demand both, in the domestic market and for export. The latest achievements of the aerial instrument engineering were used in the development of the system. The systems have a modular open architecture, use new generation multifunction displays with LED backlighting, a fully redundant flight management system (FMS) with the built-in GLONASS /GPS receiver, a map server, Helicopter Health and Usage Monitoring Systems (HUMS), terrain awareness and warning system (TAWS), modern radio and communication equipment. The system provides for the use of any additional equipment without significant modifications. One of the distinctions is a capability to fly both, in the daytime and at night with the use of NVG. The multi-function displays are sunlight readable though also compatible with the night vision goggles. The “Glass Cockpit” concept relieves the workload on the crew by automating the accomplishment of many tasks, and adds new capabilities to the Russian helicopters. Introduction of up-to-date systems on the Russian helicopters broadens considerably their operational limits. In combination with the high manufacturing quality this improves the image of Russian helicopters and contributes to their competitive ability. The system is a product of broad cooperation, primarily with HELICOPTERS OF RUSSIA, MIL MOSCOW HELICOPTER PLANT, KAZAN HELICOPTER PLANT. Many key components included in the system have been developed and are produced by the Russian companies, the AVIAPRIBOR HOLDING and RPC TEKHNOKOMPLEKS. Visit as at stand 2D1. |
