New visualisation version promises better quality simulator training of flight crews.

TRANSAS continues its activities aimed at the development of new technologies. The latest company’s achievement is an improved visualisation model.

The unique programm implements automatic landscape generation capability for the new version. The software now allows the virtual terrain to be created in the area on the basis of an electronic topographic map, and any geographic area to be displayed on the screen.

This will considerably expand simulator training capabilities for the flight personnel.

Developed currently for the visual scenes are new 3D graphic objects, like:

  • 3D models of clouds - stratus and cumulus clouds;
  • precipitation models – rain, snow.

It is noteworthy that the type and size of objects and the precipitation intensity can be changed dynamically. New objects will enable simulator training in adverse weather conditions.

The visual system will soon be supplemented with a new animation effect - reflection of objects in the water: moon and sun light, stars and clouds.

TRANSAS, the country’s leader in the production of modern simulators, simulator systems and airborne navigation equipment, continues its work on the development of new products.

The improved visual system developed by TRANSAS can be used in both, marine and flight simulators.
