- The first Mi-8MTB helicopter simulator has been brought into operation in St.Petersburg
- From 14 to 19 August 2001, the Fifth International Moscow Air Show MAKS'2001 was held on the territory of Gromov Research Institute in the town of Zhukosvky not far from Moscow. Holding up its tradition, TRANSAS took part in the exhibition and presented its avionics developments.
